All About Me

Dr. Pippa Moran is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years working in mental health, specialising in supporting parents, children, and young people to improve their wellbeing through short-term, solution-focused strategies.

With a BSc in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, Pippa has worked extensively across CAMHS, paediatrics, and neurodevelopmental services.

In 2015, she founded Cornwall Clinical Psychology to better serve her local community, offering psychological assessment and therapy, cognitive assessments, and neurodevelopmental diagnoses for ADHD and ASD.

Over the years, she became increasingly concerned by the lack of post-diagnostic support for families, who often felt adrift after receiving a diagnosis. This inspired her to create a new post-diagnostic service grounded in the evidence-based approaches of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), which she has trained in and delivered for many years.

Pippa is deeply passionate about equipping families with the tools and strategies to build on their strengths and reduce the day-to-day challenges they face. She knows that psychological approaches can be just as effective (and more enduring) than medication, and is committed to making these strategies accessible, practical, and empowering.

Based in West Cornwall, Pippa lives with her husband, two children, and their much-loved dog, Iris. She enjoys the outdoors, especially beach walks and running, and is a dedicated plant enthusiast. You’ll often find her soaking up the sun while listening to a good podcast or audiobook.
